The Role
As a Mechanical Engineering Technician on the Robot Services team, you will disassemble, diagnose, repair, and reassemble complex humanoid robot components. Your work will directly influence design improvements and reliability enhancements across our robots. This is a hands-on, in-person role with growth opportunities into mechanical engineering positions.
You Will
Perform precision disassembly and repair of micro-scale mechanical assemblies
Rework delicate components requiring sub-millimeter precision
Diagnose mechanical failures using hands-on inspection and diagnostic tools
Conduct functional testing and validate repaired components to exact standards
Collaborate with engineers to document failures and recommend design updates
Create detailed technical documentation for repair procedures and assembly sequences
Building general-purpose humanoid robots designed to work alongside people in everyday environments.
