Accountant/ Accounting Manager (12 months contract)

Responsibilities

Own the month-end close process and deliver accurate, timely financial reports

Build and maintain internal controls that protect our assets and keep us compliant

Coordinate statutory audits and work hand-in-hand with external auditors

Ensure all tax filings and regulatory requirements are met on time

Spot opportunities to streamline and improve finance processes, including leveraging AI tools

Stay on top of changes in financial regulations and keep us ahead of the curve

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar (CPA or equivalent is a big plus)

At least 6-8 years’ experience in accounting or finance, especially with month-end close, controls, and reporting

Solid understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and other accounting standards

Comfortable with accounting software and ERP systems

Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail

Proactive, hands-on, and able to work both independently and with a team

Great communicator who can collaborate across departments

Thrives in a fast-moving environment and adapts well to change
