Job Description

What is Kalshi?

Kalshi has defined a new category: prediction markets. Kalshi allows people to trade on the outcome of any events and turn any question about the future into a financial asset. Kalshi fought for years and legalized prediction markets in the US for the first time in history, is currently the fastest growing financial market in America, and has thousands of markets across politics, economics, financials, weather, tech, AI, culture and more.

We believe prediction markets have the potential to be the largest financial market because they turn anything into a financial position.

  • Our vision: well… build the largest financial market on the planet.

  • Our mission: bring more truth to the world through the power of markets.

Our culture is simple: we hire really talented people, work really hard, and enjoy the climb. We are looking for ambitious and exceptional people to join our (relatively small) team to help us build the next generation of financial markets.

Role Roadmap

Kalshi is looking for a highly analytical, consumer-obsessed Brand Data Strategist to help us understand what works, why it works, and how we can make better marketing decisions.

As Kalshi continues to invest in brand marketing, creator partnerships, sports sponsorships, cultural moments, and large-scale campaigns, we need a rigorous approach to measuring effectiveness and generating actionable insights. Great marketing isn't just about creative intuition - it's about understanding consumer behavior, validating hypotheses, and building systems that allow teams to continuously improve.

This role will sit at the intersection of brand strategy, consumer insights, and marketing analytics. You'll own campaign measurement, brand tracking, sentiment analysis, consumer research, and competitive intelligence. You'll help the marketing team understand which messages resonate, which creators drive impact, how campaigns influence perception, and where future investments should be made.

What You'll Do

  • Build and own Kalshi's brand measurement and campaign effectiveness framework

  • Measure the impact of marketing campaigns across awareness, consideration, engagement, conversion, retention, and brand perception

  • Conduct audience and consumer research to identify target segments, messaging opportunities, and creator partnerships

  • Design and execute creative testing and concept validation programs before campaigns launch

  • Develop and maintain ongoing brand tracking programs, including awareness, consideration, sentiment, and perception metrics

  • Monitor brand sentiment, search interest, engagement trends, and consumer feedback across channels

  • Analyze campaign, creator, placement, and channel-level performance to identify key drivers of success

  • Partner with Data, Growth, and Marketing teams to measure brand lift and understand campaign impact

  • Build competitive intelligence programs that track competitor activity, messaging, sponsorships, and market positioning

  • Deliver recurring reports, analyses, and strategic recommendations to marketing leadership

  • Translate complex data into clear insights that inform creative, media, and marketing strategy

  • Build systems that ensure learnings are captured and applied across future campaigns

What You Bring

  • 4–8 years of experience in consumer insights, brand strategy, marketing analytics, market research, or a related field

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with experience measuring marketing effectiveness

  • Experience conducting consumer research, audience segmentation, and insight generation

  • Deep understanding of brand measurement, campaign analytics, and marketing performance evaluation

  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of data into actionable business recommendations

  • Strong communication and storytelling skills

  • Understanding of modern marketing, media, internet culture, and social platforms

  • Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, analytics, creative, and product teams

  • Strong ownership mentality and intellectual curiosity

  • Ability to operate independently and proactively identify opportunities

Bonus

  • Experience at a leading consumer brand or top agency

  • Experience measuring creator marketing, sponsorships, sports marketing, or brand campaigns

  • Familiarity with brand lift studies, consumer panels, survey design, and market research methodologies

  • Experience working with consumer technology, fintech, media, sports, or entertainment brands

  • Experience with experimentation and creative testing frameworks

  • SQL, data visualization, or advanced analytics experience

  • Strong understanding of customer behavior and decision-making psychology

  • Experience building consumer insights or brand strategy functions from the ground up
