Job Description

Figure is an AI robotics company developing autonomous, general-purpose humanoid robots. Our mission is to deploy humanoid robots with human-level intelligence at global scale. Figure is headquartered in San Jose, CA, where our teams are building and scaling the manufacturing systems that will power the future of work.

Figure’s Manufacturing team is seeking a Production Supervisor to own shift-level execution across safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency. This role directly supervises production teams, partners closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Operations leadership, and ensures production goals are met through strong people leadership and hands-on execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Own safety, quality, delivery, and productivity performance for assigned shift(s).
  • Directly supervise, coach, and develop production leads and operators; set expectations and drive accountability.
  • Plan and assign daily work, staffing, and resources to meet production schedules and takt targets.
  • Monitor production flow, communicate status, and escalate risks or blockers in real time.
  • Ensure line readiness, material availability, equipment uptime, and smooth changeovers.
  • Lead troubleshooting of quality, equipment, and process issues in partnership with Engineering and Quality.
  • Review and approve production documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and traceability.
  • Drive standard work, Lean Manufacturing initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience (high school diploma or GED required).
  • 5+ years in a regulated manufacturing environment, with 2+ years in a supervisory or people-management role.
  • Hands-on experience in assembly or production (robotics, automotive, aerospace, or electronics preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Comfortable working on the floor, using hand tools, lifting up to 50 lbs., and handling chemicals with PPE.

TThe US base salary range for this full-time position is between $100,000 - $135,000 annually.

The pay offered for this position may vary based on several individual factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include additional components/benefits depending on the specific role. This information will be shared if an employment offer is extended.
