Job Description

Who we are

About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

The Recruiting Team seeks to build the culture of Stripe by aligning the strongest global talent to our highest impact business needs. We focus on bringing Stripe’s operating principles to life in our recruiting processes, providing the highest-quality candidate experience, and leveraging data driven storytelling to influence the business. Our Internal Recruiting team manages all requisition-based internal hires.

What you’ll do

As an Internal Recruiter at Stripe, you'll play a key role in scaling our internal recruiting efforts. You will be responsible for overseeing and facilitating the movement of internal talent across various teams and regions, while ensuring a seamless and positive experience for candidates throughout the process. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with Hiring Managers, Recruiting Managers, People Partners, the Compensation Team, and the Talent Mobility Team to ensure we are following Stripe's internal mobility practices and delivering an excellent candidate experience.

You will be instrumental in building and refining processes, managing a high volume of internal recruiting requests, and ensuring we have the right talent in the right roles. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize and manage relationships across different teams will be essential as you help us grow Stripe’s internal recruiting function.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end process for internal mobility, ensuring a smooth experience for all candidates
  • Partner with Hiring Managers, Recruiting Managers, People Partners, Compensation, and Talent Mobility teams to understand hiring needs, define role requirements, and align on strategies for internal talent movement
  • Act as a trusted advisor for employees seeking to move internally, providing guidance on the internal mobility process
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure internal candidates are evaluated fairly and consistently in line with Stripe’s internal mobility practices
  • Build out and refine internal recruiting processes to ensure efficiency, scalability, and a positive candidate experience
  • Handle a high volume of internal requests and applications while ensuring attention to detail and meeting internal deadlines
  • Partner proactively with Recruiting Managers and external recruiters to review candidate pipelines
  • Curate a positive candidate experience for all internal candidates
  • Ensure alignment with Stripe’s values, culture, and operational goals as you drive internal talent mobility across teams
  • Continuously improve the internal recruiting experience by gathering feedback and identifying areas for process improvement

Who you are

We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in recruitment, talent management, or related roles
  • 3+ years of experience in a fast paced environment
  • Experience partnering with hiring teams throughout the recruiting process, acting as an effective hiring partner and trusted advisor
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize competing demands while managing a high volume of requests
  • Ability to build and refine recruiting processes in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Proficiency in using recruiting and HR tools (e.g., Greenhouse, Workday, etc.)

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience working in a global or multi-region environment, specifically EMEA and APAC.
  • Knowledge of Stripe’s internal processes or similar fast-paced, high-growth tech environments
  • Experience in both internal mobility and external recruitment
  • Ability and willingness to attend to work matters outside normal business hours on an as-needed basis (this role supports a global team, so flexibility to adjust your working schedule to connect with counterparts in different time zones is preferable)
