At RobCo, we automate the ordinary, so humans can do the extraordinary. To achieve this, we are looking for an ambitious Working Student (m/f/d) – Electronics & Prototyping to help us establish RobCo as leading provider of automation solutions.
As a Working Student in Electronics, you will support our engineering team in developing, testing, and improving electronic systems used in our robots. This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on prototyping and practical problem-solving.
Your Responsibilities
Build and assemble electronic prototypes and test setups
Perform functional testing and validation of hardware components
Investigate and debug technical issues using lab equipment (e.g. oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyzer)
Support the design and creation of small PCBs
Assist in writing simple embedded or test-related software
Document test results and findings
We're looking for someone who has:
Currently enrolled student in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field
Hands-on mindset: you enjoy building, tinkering, and experimenting
Basic understanding of electronics and circuits
Nice to have:
Experience with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer or KiCad
Basic programming skills (e.g. Python, C/C++)
Experience with lab equipment (oscilloscope, etc.)
SMD soldering skills (not required, but a strong plus)
