The Carbon Robotics LaserWeeder™ leverages advanced robotics, computer vision, AI/deep learning, and lasers to eliminate weeds with sub-millimeter accuracy—all without herbicides. This innovative solution reduces environmental impact, promotes soil health, and helps farmers address labor shortages and rising costs. Designed in Seattle and built at our cutting-edge manufacturing facility in Richland, Washington, the LaserWeeder is setting a new standard for automated weed control. With $157 million in funding from prominent investors such as BOND, NVentures (NVIDIA’s venture arm), Anthos Capital, Fuse Venture Capital, Ignition Partners, Revolution, Sozo Ventures, and Voyager Capital, Carbon Robotics is driving innovation.

As a Contract Senior Technical Sourcing Recruiter, you will be a key partner in scaling our technical teams during a critical phase of growth. You’ll work closely with recruiters and hiring leaders to build high-impact sourcing strategies, engage top-tier talent, and ensure a strong, mission-aligned candidate pipeline.

This position is based in Seattle with an expectation of 4 days per week in-office.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead and execute strategic sourcing initiatives across software engineering roles.
  • Proactively identify, engage, and nurture passive candidates, building diverse and high-quality talent pipelines
  • Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to develop tailored sourcing strategies aligned to role requirements and business priorities
  • Conduct in-depth candidate screens, evaluating technical capabilities, problem-solving ability, and alignment with company mission and stage
  • Use market insights and talent mapping to inform hiring strategy and improve pipeline quality
  • Deliver a high-touch, best-in-class candidate experience from initial outreach through handoff
  • Leverage Greenhouse (ATS) and sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter) to track pipeline health and optimize workflows
  • Support broader recruiting initiatives and contribute to process improvements as the company scales

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities for Success:

  • 5+ years of technical sourcing or recruiting experience
  • Demonstrated success sourcing for high caliber, Sr. Software Engineers in high growth startup environments is required.
  • Proven ability to think strategically about talent pipelines, not just execute outbound sourcing
  • Hands-on experience with Greenhouse ATS and modern sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, etc.) is required.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder partnership skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, in-office environment

Carbon Robotics follows equitable hiring practices. Flexibility in our hiring process allows hiring of talent at levels different from what are posted.  The compensation range outlined is based on a target budgeted base salary. Individual base pay depends on various factors such as relevant experience and skill, Interview assessments and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements. Offers are determined using our equitable hiring practices. Carbon Robotics offers additional compensation in the form of benefits premiums, pre-IPO stock options and On Target Earning commissions for appropriate positions. Base pay ranges are reviewed each year. We are committed to the principle of pay equity – paying employees equitably for similar work.

Carbon Robotics' base salary pay range:
$50$70 USD
