We believe general-purpose, generally intelligent robots will be built in our lifetimes. Robots will work in our factories, move our goods, walk on our streets, and eventually be in our homes. To build that future, research and deployment must work in lockstep: real-world operation must make the technology better and better technology must make deployment easier. We're looking for the thinkers, builders, and researchers who want to be part of that loop.
As an AI robotics company that deploys its inventions directly into the facilities that need them, on state-of-the-art hardware, every robot we build at Tutor has a direct impact on the global, physical economy.
We believe that something truly special can happen when talented, motivated people work together; at Tutor, every member of our team is empowered to have real impact in everything that they do. We're characterized by both technical excellence and next-level collaboration and respect.
When a robot goes down, our customer feels it immediately — and so do we. Uptime is the promise we make every time we deploy, and we're looking for the operational leader who will own that promise across North America.
At Tutor, we are motivated by atoms, not electrons — our robots do real work in real warehouses every day, and keeping them running is one of the most important jobs in the company. As our Fleet Reliability Manager, you'll build and scale the teams, systems, and processes that keep our fleet healthy: our Robotics Maintenance & Field Service Technicians and our Remote Technical Support organization. You'll own the full intersection of field service, technical support, reliability, and preventive maintenance, and partner closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Customer Success, and Deployment to reduce downtime and deliver an exceptional customer experience. This is the function that lets Tutor scale its fleet across North America.
We're looking for a hands-on builder, not a caretaker. You create the process instead of waiting for one, you develop the people under you, and you're as comfortable reviewing reliability metrics in the morning as you are helping solve a critical customer escalation at night. You make good decisions with incomplete information, you lead from the front, and above all you take ownership. Specific industry backgrounds are helpful but not the point — we care about whether you can build a world-class service organization from the ground up.
