Role Overview
As an Electrical Engineer - Foot, you will push the boundaries of what’s possible in robotics by helping to design the next generation of robotic feet. You’ll design and integrate electrical systems that operate at the edge of performance, reliability, and manufacturability—ensuring that every component, layout, and system meets the demands of advanced humanoid robotics.
Responsibilities
You will own of schematics, layout, prototyping, up to and including developing key testing and validation requirements with the manufacturing team
Design advanced PCB layouts for sensing, actuation, and compute modules in highly space-constrained under environmentally challenging conditions
Preference for prior experience with tactile sensing systems
Build real-time embedded systems using microcontrollers and high-speed digital interfaces
Debug, characterize, and optimize across thermal, EMI, and signal-integrity domains
Develop rapid prototypes, validation rigs, and custom tools to accelerate iteration
Collaborate closely with mechanical, software, soft goods, materials, and AI teams to bring robots to life
Building general-purpose humanoid robots designed to work alongside people in everyday environments.
